Min. Moses Swaray blesses President Weah for US$383,000.00 gesture towards Albinos

"We say we applaud you, Mr. President. May God continue to bless you. May God continue to bless the works of your hands. May you prosper as you lead this nation."

On his most recent visit to Liberia from the US on January 13, 2021, Gospel Musician and Pastor, Min. Moses Swaray, in a Press Conference, openly lauded the President of the Republic of Liberia for his gesture towards Albinos in Liberia. According to Min. Swaray, President George Manneh Weah, through the National government, has allotted the sum of 383,000 USD to the Liberia Albinism Society.

"Thanks to the government of Liberia for the purchase of the land and a successful ground breaking ceremony for the construction of a modern headquarters for the Albinos,", he said. "As we're talking to you, the government has allocated 383,000 United States Dollars in these times of crisis", he furthered.

In continuation of his appreciation, Min. Swaray said that when a man does good, let his good speak for him. "President Weah is not an Albino", he went on. He explained that that amount would go a long way in building a facility where children with Albinism can go to learn different things: "Having that money in the budget to facilitate the construction of a modern facility for Albinos is something that should be applauded."

As a pastor and Ambassador of the Liberia Albino Society, he rained blessings upon the Liberian leader: "I speak on behalf of every Albino in this country, man, woman, boy, girl. We say we applaud you, Mr. President. May God continue to bless you. May God continue to bless the works of your hands. May you prosper as you lead this nation."

Min. Moses Swaray is a gifted Liberian Gospel Musician who has been called to preach, with the purpose to serve, according to him. Min. Swaray is also the Ambassador Extraordinaire for national and international affairs of the Liberia Albino Society.

Do Not Look Back!!! [Day Na Break Devotional: January 15 - 21]

Day Na Break [weekly] Devotional (January 15 - 21, 2021)

Do Not Look Back!!!

By: Guladia

Most times when God starts to push us forward into a better life, we tend to look back at how sweet or enjoyable our past life used to be. As humans, we sometimes do not understand the journey into our new, glorious life because it may not look as 'flourishing' as our previous life used to look. However, we need to remember that there's a way that seems right unto a man, but the end therefore is destruction [ Proverbs 14:12 ].

Do not look back. Whenever you look back, there are consequences. Sometimes when you look back, you find yourself going back into that past lifestyle. When you look back, you may lose out on the new life God is taking you into. When you look back, you grief God. God gets very unhappy when we look back and start to crave that destructive life He is calling us out of.

The Israelites looked back when God was taking them out of slavery to their promise land. They complained to Moses that they were hungry and that Moses had brought them into the Wilderness so the entire group could die: "Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness. And the children of Israel said to them, “Oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full! For you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.” Exodus 16:2-3. When you read further, God then gave them manner from Heaven.

They were still not satisfied. They started to complain again, that "If only we had some meat. In Egypt we could eat all the fish we wanted, and there were cucumbers, melons, onions, and garlic. But we’re starving out here, and the only food we have is this manna." Read Numbers 14:4-6. See, God gave them food, but they did not see it as luxurious as the food they ate in Egypt.

They complained that they wanted to go back. What they failed to realize is that they were given all those food because their slave masters needed them to be healthy and strong to be able to do all the hard work they had to do. It had nothing to do with them caring about what they ate.

When the enemy gives you what may seem to be luxury, know that it is not for your good, but for his own benefit. He wants so that people would see the things you get from the destructive way so that other people would be enticed to follow him [the devil] also. Beware that not all that shines is gold.

God did not like the fact that the Israelites looked back and desired to return to Egypt. So He kept them in the Wilderness far longer than He had originally planned. Besides, God wiped out that entire generation so that they did not see the promise land but the next generation.

When God is taking you out of the life of sexual pleasure [sin], do not complain that "oh, this new life, my sex drive is so high and God is not giving me a husband or a wife to marry so that I can enjoy sex like I used to. I want to go back." When God is taking you out of the world or alcoholism and smoking harmful substances, do not go complaining that those things used to give you relaxation in times of stress, now here you are, so tensed and there is nothing to calm you down. When God is calling out of the life or waywardness and all kinds of perverse lifestyle, welcome it and do not look back! Or maybe God is calling you out of what seems to be an abundant life...say from a great job to one that looks less, from a great community or country into a new one. God alone knows best, and He always wants the best for His children. You just follow his lead and do not look back. Ask God, and He will give you the Holy Spirit who will dwell in you and give you all the spiritual fulfillment you need to cope with those situations in life. Do not be the reason for you own delay or denial of your fruitful life.

Lot's wife looked back...and she turned into a pillar of salt. That one was just plain and simple. There was a specific instruction: "Do not look back." The angels of the Lord had gone to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because of their sin against God. However, Lot was found worthy. Therefore, he and his family were spared. The angel told them to leave. When they were hesitating, the angel took them by the hands, Lot, his wife and his two daughters. Genesis 19:15 -17: With the coming of dawn, the angels urged Lot, saying, “Hurry! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, or you will be swept away when the city is punished." When he hesitated, the men grasped his hand and the hands of his wife and of his two daughters and led them safely out of the city, for the Lord was merciful to them. As soon as they had brought them out, one of them said, “Flee for your lives! Don’t look back, and don’t stop anywhere in the plain! Flee to the mountains or you will be swept away!”

They then started their journey, running for their lives, leaving behind all their possessions. Then what happened? Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt [Genesis 19:26]. Lot's wife was in the know. She heard the instruction clearly: "Do not look back." She made a conscious effort to disobey the instruction. When she did, she received the consequences of her action immediately. Perhaps yours may not be that immediate, but remember there are always consequences. God may be very patient with us so as not to bring our own punishment on us immediately. Do not see it as a means of continuing in our state of 'looking back'. Get out of it.

Jesus referenced this situation about Lot's wife [in Luke 17:32] during His time of Ministry on earth [Read Luke 17:22-37]. When Jesus was cautioning the people that the time is coming when the Son of Man will return and we will be caught in the rapture. When you are up on your roof top, do not come down to go into the house for anything. If you are out, do not think about going back.

During the war in Liberia, some had this experience. When you leave the house to go fetch food and learn that there is an attack in the community you came from, people were warned not to go back. The issue was that whatever you left behind there must be forgotten. Just forge ahead and run for your life. If you left children behind, you will have to pray that somehow you will see them again when the fighting subsides. That is it. An attempt to go back may cost your life.

When God instructs you to move into your restored, fruitful life, move forward and do not look back. The consequences would be dire. You cannot move forward by looking behind. You might remain in the same position or crash into something [accident] ahead of you whilst you were looking back. Focus on the journey ahead of you and move forward.

As the Lord is ready to RESTORE you this 2021, do not look back. Focus on the road that lies ahead of you and move forward. He sees you. He knows all what you are going through and He will hold your hand and lead you through. God bless you.

Min. Aaron S. Kawreh warns artists against mediocrity!!

Min. Aaron S. Kawreh, a top class afro pop gospel artist, has shared his candid view on what kind of music gospel artists should put out. Speaking via his Facebook page, Min. Kawreh cautioned and inspired his fellow gospel artists to produce quality songs and videos to add flavor to the blessings that gospel music gives to the soul. "We agree we want to do gospel songs, we want to be a blessing to people, but then equally so, we need to do perfection. We need a good thing", he admonished his fellow artists. "Gone are those days when we say 'it's a gospel song so we can just put it out anyway anyhow'. No!", he furthered.

On his podcast, Min. Kawreh expressed that perfection and quality yields good music. Good music can be of more blessings; as such, it behooves song writers, producers and artists to add quality to their production.

"When we do the songs, we want the songs to have quality and they should be a blessing to people. " Min. Kawreh stressed.

Since the release of the Back to the Sender single and his recent effort, Miracle Working God, featuring Pastor Moses Swaray, Min. Kawreh has set the bar high for contemporary, rising gospel artists.

Min. Aaron Kawreh is a Liberian gospel artist based in the United States of America.

How Rev. Joseph Gardea Johnson escaped Bikers' hot pursuit

Rev. Joseph Gardea Johnson, III, Senior Pastor of the Restoration Baptist Church, narrowly escaped two fellows who were in hot pursuit of his vehicle as he drove home on Thursday of last week. Narrating his ordeal, Rev. Johnson explained that he had gone to purchase some food items in Paynesville, while on his way back to his Old Road residence, he noticed that he was being seriously chased by two guys on a motorbike. He also noticed that they were signaling him to stop, something he totally refused to do considering the State of the Nation at the moment. This is a Nation where four Senior Auditors get killed just within a period of eight days and up to now nobody can find their killers, not even the government of the Nation.

He decided to ignore their gestures till he reached his apartment. At this point, he was sure they could not do anything much because there were lots of security officers on guard at his residence. Besides, his house is not far from his church which also had lots of security officers on duty that night. The occupants of the motorbike continued in their pursuit until they caught up with the Man of God. The passenger disembarked the bike and walked towards him, walking like one who had suffered a broken leg. He then asked them what was the matter. The 'hopping' fellow told him that he [the Reverend] had injured him while driving. He said,

"Hello Chief. You drove over my leg and didn't stop. You were running with too much speed in that crowded area and you almost killed me."

The Reverend said he was surprised as he didn't notice that he hit anything or anybody whilst driving. So he responded, "Really, I didn't know. Where did it happen?" The young man said it happened on the Old Road, in the Joe Bar Market.

Rev. Joseph Gardea Johnson, Senior Pastor, Restoration Baptist Ministries

The Reverend was even more taken aback. According to Rev. Johnson, he drove home from Paynesville by way of the Nigeria House route. This means that he did not pass through the Old Road Market, as this young man was claiming.

"How can I drive over his leg when I didn't use the market to go or even come?', the Rev. wondered. "Is it that my tyres went for a ride without me or he was standing in Old Road but his legs were stretched to boulevard?"

The Rev. said he knew straight away this was a lie. At this point, lots of security personnel and neighbors were gathering at the scene. The one riding the bike hurriedly escaped, saying that the other fellow had lied that it was a red jeep that injured him. The 'hopping fellow' too who was supposed to be suffering a severely injured leg was seen walking off in such a hurry, walking normally, and later took off like the speed of a lightning. This is how the Rev. described the situation,

"While focusing on the biker, the young man who pretended to be injured became normal and started walking away like nothing happened to him. His healing was instant, the fastest I have seen all my life as a pastor and ran at a speed I have not seen in recent years."

It was such a serious situation. The people who had gathered wanted to chase the young man, however, Rev. Johnson begged them to let him go with his trouble.

"THIS IS MY STORY!!!
On Thursday of last week, I left my home in the evening to purchase Grilled Fish from one of my members at her restaurant at the Boulevard Junction.
While there, I spent about 45 minutes to an hour waiting for the fish. Upon receiving the fish, I drove home. But because of the traffic it took me an hour or an hour and a half to reach home. So the entire trip to and fro was approximately 2 hours to 2 hours thirty minutes.
Driving from Boulevard Junction, I used the Nigeria House Junction to enter Old Road because my house is not far from the church. This was the same route I used to go.
When I was turning into the junction of my residence, I noticed through the view mirror two young men on a bike in hot pursuit of my vehicle indicating that I should stop. Considering the present situation with bike robberies in our country I didn't stop until I reach my residence fence where there are sufficient securities, well prepared.
When I stopped, one of the young men on the bike got off and started to approach me but I noticed he was walking like one of his legs was hurt or injured.
He reached me and said. " hello chief" and I said "hello how can I help you?" He said, "you drove over my leg and didn't stop" and he also said "You were running with too much speed in that crowded area and you almost killed me."
I was surprised because I never notice it, so I said, "really, I didn't know. Where did it happened?"
To my outmost surprise the young man said, "Old Road in Joe Bar Market."
The question on my mind was how can I drive over his leg when I didn't use the market to go or even come?
Is it that my tyres went for a ride without me or he was standing in Old Road but his legs were streshed to boulevard?
At this moment I knew straight the guys were scammers trying to scam money out of me. By this time, all of the securities from the neighbours, from our rented home and the church were outside and more started to come outside.
The bike rider noticed it and pulled off but while doing so he said "this guy lied to me, he said the jeep was red." It became clearer that they were actually scammers.
While focusing on the biker, the young man who pretended to be injured became normal and started walking away like nothing happened to him.
His healing was instant, the fastest I have seen all my life as a pastor and ran at a speed I have not seen in recent years.
People from the neighbourhood wanted to chase him but I begged them to stop." - As narrated by Rev. Josephe Gardea Johnson on his social media handler.

Min. Aaron S. Kawreh releases "Miracle Working God" : Blessing and quality

Whoever said the children of God do not aim for quality and standard has been proven wrong by Min. Aaron Success Kawreh. The US-based Liberian gospel artist just made that part clear when he released his latest music video titled 'MIRACLE WORKING GOD'

Epic!! Fantastic!! Quality!! These are the words he used to described his work, which he assures the children of God is definitely a BLESSING to all who listen.

"We need perfection. You don't just put out music anyhow because it's gospel music", Min. Kawreh admonished his fellow gospel musicians. He stressed that even though gospel songs are released to bless the listeners, quality is key. He was also quick to mention that the goal of releasing a music of this quality is far beyond mere entertainment. His goal is for people to be blessed.

'MIRACLE WORKING GOD' can best be described as a blessing. It is indeed a quality work that represents Liberia well. He features veteran Gospel sensation and icon, Min. Moses Swaray

Hit the link below and listen and get to understand that the children of God can rise far above mediocrity and still praise God.

Your RESTORATION is in your hands [Devotional: January 8 - 14]

Day Na Break Weekly Devotional [January 8 - 14]

Your RESTORATION is in your hands

By: Guladia

Do you know that your RESTORATION is in your hands? That's right!! Begin to look in your hands. What do you have? Never despise what you have as little or as nothing. God is ever ready to work with what you have.

God asked Moses, "What is that in your hand?" "A staff", he replied. -Exodus 4:2.
Then the Lord said to him, "Throw it on the ground." Moses threw it on the ground and it became a snake, and he ran from it - Exodus 4:3.
When the Lord told Moses to throw his staff down, Moses didn't ask why. Remember, God asked Moses what was in his hand. The only thing Moses had in his hand was his staff. So he simply responded, "A staff." He didn't say, "A staff. Why?" OR "A staff. What does this have to do with anything?", like some of us would today. Simply "A staff". Then God told Moses to throw it to the ground. Now this is where most people would be like, "...but God, where is all this going?" OR "Why should I throw it to the ground?" OR "What for?" Moses didn't ask a question. He simply followed the instruction coming from God.
When you go to Exodus 14:1-31, God gave Moses a simple instruction again. In verse 16, God said "Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground." Verse 21: Then Moses stretched out his hand [with the staff in it] over the sea and all that night the Lord drove the sea back with a strong east wind and turned it into dry land...

Now hear this: When God instructs, simply follow. God can use whatever it is that is in your hand. When God inquires of you, "What is that in your hand", it is not because He [God] does not know what is in your hand. It is because God wants to know if you are alert and aware of what you have, no matter how insignificant it may appear to be. So d not say, "But God, you already know what I have" OR Do not say you have NOTHING.
Now, when God gives you an instruction, simply obey. God told Moses to drop the staff, and it turned into a snake...God told Moses to stretch the staff towards the Red Sea, and the water divided!
When God says move, move! When God gives you an instruction, follow. What happens afterwards is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS. Only OBEY!!!

Let's look at the case of the 5,000 plus people Jesus fed. The disciples missed out on the opportunity to perform that miracle because they could not follow a simple instruction. Jesus said to them, "You give them something to eat." - Matthew 14:16. They then went like: Hey, come on now, Jesus. We have ONLY 5 loaves of bread and 2 pieces of fish....more like, Are you kidding right now? Now, when you read John's version of this story, Jesus asked Philip where they could buy bread from to feed the people. John 6:5. Jesus was only testing Philip (verse 6) and sure enough, Philip failed that test. He went like, [Buy? Are you serious, Jesus? You mean you want us buy bread to feed over 5,000 people? Where are we going to get that kind of money from?] Sounds like most of us today.
Then Philip went, 'See, even if we work for 8 months, we CANNOT earn enough money to [buy bread and] feed these people. John 6:7. Philip totally disregarded the fact that he was working with the creator of the universe, the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God who owns the earth and all that is within it!!!
Jesus saw that His disciples were not ready to do exploit. So He did the miracle Himself. They missed out on that opportunity. When Jesus [God] instructs, follow. That's all. What happens afterward is really not for you to say.
God can use whatever it is that you have to do great and marvelous things in your life. Only follow his instructions and believe.
God bless you.

Day Na Break Devotional (January 1 - 7)

Day Na Break [weekly] Devotional (January 1 - 7, 2021)

Written by: Guladia
Our Year Of RESTORATION (Joel 2:25; Isaiah 51:3)
Happy New Year!!!

Day Na Break! It is a brand new year!!! Hurray!!! Happy New Year to us all. The Lord has revealed to us that this is our Year of RESTORATION...leading to a FRUITFUL 2021, in Jesus' name. Amen!!!
Some of us might be wondering that after a long, turbulent year, there is nothing much to look forward to in 2021. In fact, it may appear as though issues from 2020 are spilling over to this year. We may have lost a lot this past year. However, we need to know that God will turn His face towards us this new year. Halleluyah!!!
Isaiah:51.3
The LORD will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the LORD. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing.
Our Year of RESTORATION:
Let us cry unto the Lord: RESTORE our fortunes, O Lord, like streams in the Negev. Psalm 126:4, then like Zion, the Lord will look with compassion on all [our] ruins [Isaiah 51:3] and RESTORE the years the locusts have eaten, according to His Word. When we declare, let us put God in reminder of His Word.
Joel 2:25:
"I will RESTORE to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the palmerworm, my great army [of worms] which I sent among you."
When God RESTORES the years which the locust hath eaten, what follows is FRUITFULNESS. Like Zion, the Lord God will make our wilderness like Eden [Isaiah 51:3 - KJV]. The Lord Himself [has brought] us into a good land [Read Deuteronomy 8:7-10; Deuteronomy 11:10-11]. God Himself [has already blessed] us, like Noah, and has set us forth to become FRUITFUL. Genesis 9:1- Then God blessed Noah and his sons and said, [As for you], be FRUITFUL and multiply, and replenish the earth. When we read Genesis 1:28, we realize that this was God's original blessing to mankind, after He created Adam and Eve. God blessed them and said to them 'be FRUITFUL, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.'
Now, we need to understand that FRUITFULNESS in this context does not necessary refer only to bearing children. FRUITFULNESS also has a lot to do with being creative and productive in terms of our work here on earth. Watch this: after God wiped out all of mankind by drowning everybody on earth in a flood, apart from Noah and his family members, God blessed Noah and his sons and gave them His original blessing of being FRUITFUL all over again - Genesis 9:1.
God has promised that He Himself will lead us into a good land, which He has already done. For He knows the end from the beginning. He said in Psalm 126:5-6 that "Those who sow in tears will reap with songs of joy. He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to sow will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him." God will bless the works of our hands.
All we need to do is to fear the Lord, walk in His ways, love Him, serve Him with all our hearts, and with all our souls. We should 'faithfully obey the commands the Lord God has given us' [Read Deuteronomy 8:11; 11:13]. We should stop being stubborn [stiff-necked], for God 'accepts no bribe' [Read Deuteronomy 11:12-17]. We should be very careful not to seek other gods to see us through this year (Deuteronomy 8:19-20).
Let us go out and begin to put our hands to work and leave the rest with God.
In order for us to step into our year of RESTORATION, which will lead us into being FRUITFUL this 2021, this is what we are entering into the New Year with and we will abide in it from today, January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021:
Ephesians 6:10-18 - 10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.
11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
May the Lord God walk us through our Year of RESTORATION and help us to be Fruitful. In Jesus' name. Amen!!!
