The Senior Pastor of the Restoration Baptist Ministries, Rev. Joseph
Gardea Johnson has referred to certain category of preachers as thieves.
The Baptist Minister, in a bid to admonish Preachers to be considerate,
has expressed that any pastor who is so particular about collecting
tithe from the members, but does not care about the livelihood of the
members are thieves.
He went beyond just caring, but put it to Preachers that they should 'fight for their members to have a living wage.' In his words: "If you are a preacher of the Gospel, and you are asking your people to tithe, but you are not fighting for them to have a living wage, you are a thief!"
